Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an organosulfur compound. This colourless solid features the sulfonyl functional group and is considered relatively inert chemically. It occurs in some primitive plants, is present in small amounts in many foods and beverages, and is marketed as a dietary supplement.
MSM was discovered by Dr. Stanley Jacob and Dr. Robert Herschler of Oregon Health and Sciences University in the early 1980s.
MSM positive health effects are significant in joint diseases. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to use while you have allergies, muscle pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis.
Our MSM is China origin. It is usually used only in combination with water due the markedly bitter taste.
Recommended portion: 1/6 (0,5g) of a teaspoon daily.
